We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant in Farmington, Connecticut. In this role, you will handle a variety of accounting tasks, including financial reporting, payroll processing, and daily cash activities, while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies. This position offers an excellent opportunity to apply your accounting expertise in a dynamic, multi-entity environment.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare accurate monthly financial statements, including journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.

- Manage the complete accounting cycle for assigned entities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.

- Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and ensure proper cash reporting and monitoring.

- Maintain and update fixed asset depreciation schedules using software tools.

- Process payroll and payroll tax filings on weekly, quarterly, and annual bases.

- Assist with the preparation of partnership tax filings and provide tax-related support.

- Develop and maintain documentation for leases, service contracts, and inter-company transactions.

- Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and applicable financial regulations.

- Prepare detailed work papers and schedules for annual financial reviews.

- Support special projects and additional accounting tasks as required.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.

- At least 3 years of accounting experience with a strong attention to detail, preferably in a multi-entity environment.

- Strong proficiency in general ledger functions, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.

- Familiarity with accounting systems and related software applications.

- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

- Effective written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
