Responsibilities:
- Prepare and oversee month-end closing procedures to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are properly recorded and reconciled.
- Create and post journal entries to support the accurate tracking of financial transactions.
- Conduct detailed account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial data.
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure proper alignment between company records and bank statements.
- Analyze financial records and reports to identify discrepancies and resolve any issues.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide insights and support for budgeting and forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies in all financial activities.
- Implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of accounting operations.
- Support audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries. Requirements - Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting roles, preferably at a senior level.
- Proficiency in managing month-end close processes and general ledger maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of journal entries and account reconciliation procedures.
- Demonstrated experience in performing bank reconciliations with accuracy.
- Familiarity with accounting standards and best practices.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
