More About The Position
  • Guides our residential customers in their home with HVAC replacement options, while being an expert in the Lennox brand.
  • Runs reconfirmed calls from 9 am to 6 pm to meet our customers’ needs.
  • Has a drive and passion for sales, along with the integrity to treat our customers with 5‑star service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guide customers through the Thornton & Grooms Sales Process, ensuring every step reflects professionalism and care culminating in a 5‑STAR experience.
  • Conduct a comprehensive needs analysis using our prescriptive survey and document findings thoroughly.
  • Perform heat load calculations to ensure proper equipment sizing and long‑term comfort.
  • Document the installation environment with photos and videos.
  • Collect payments and/or process financing applications.
  • Complete all electronic and paper forms accurately and on time.
  • Maintain open communication with Sales Lead Coordinator, Sales Manager, Installation Manager, and Installation Coordinator.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience that generates testimonials, reviews, and referral leads.
  • Continuously expand knowledge of HVAC products, standards, and emerging technologies.
KPI’s
  • Close rate at a minimum of 45 %
  • 2.0 million in sales annually (minimum)
  • Member plan conversion of 35 % for non‑replacement customers
  • 2 self‑generated leads per month
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Proven success in customer‑facing sales, with a strong closing rate.
  • Strong communication, listening, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Detail‑oriented, punctual, and highly organized.
  • Growth mindset and passion for continuous learning.
  • Flexible schedule (some evenings and Saturdays).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
Requirements

Clear 9‑panel drug test, background check, and clean motor vehicle report (3 years).

Physical Demands

Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly, climb stairs, and work in crawlspaces, basements, and attics. Use of hand tools and moving HVAC equipment. Must maintain clear vision, hearing, and speech for effective customer interactions.
