Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience at every visit. Some managers also lead Departments, responsible for systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management, setting goals, delegating tasks, following up, and reporting results. The Guest Service Department Manager oversees crew and managers to deliver a great customer experience, execute sales promotions, train staff, and organize the Front Counter McCafé and Drive‑Thru areas for optimal service.
The Kitchen Department Manager ensures the restaurant delivers high‑quality food quickly, maintains food safety, controls food cost, and trains kitchen staff in production procedures, including new menu items.
The People Department Manager hires qualified crew, trains and schedules them to meet sales and profit goals, and ensures crew motivation and recognition.
Previous managerial experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. We’re looking for positive team players with flexible schedules who enjoy working in the famously fast‑paced McDonald’s environment. Candidates must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our corporate‑owned and operated restaurants.
