Introduction
Do you care deeply about mental health and want to make a difference in people’s lives? Embodied Wellness is a psychotherapy practice, both online and in Farmington Hills, that specializes in somatic and EMDR therapy. We are seeking a part‑time, hybrid, contractual (1099) Social Media and Marketing Coordinator who will lead efforts in marketing, including but not limited to SEO, blogs, social media, and networking.
The ideal candidate is passionate about supporting access to mental health, eager to build relationships, and skilled at creating marketing campaigns that inspire action.
- Develop and implement digital marketing strategies, including SEO, social media, and blog management, to increase visibility and engagement.
- Write, edit, and distribute content for digital and print platforms, including newsletters, blogs, and promotional materials.
- Maintain and grow the organization’s online presence through consistent branding, messaging, and storytelling.
- Track marketing analytics and provide actionable insights for growth.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or related field (preferred).
- 2–5 years of experience in marketing, social media, blogging.
- Be willing to travel occasionally to the office in Farmington Hills or events in the area for social media content.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone and message for different audiences.
- Creative, detail‑oriented, and collaborative team player.
- Experience with SEO, social media management, and digital content creation.
- Proficiency in tools such as Google Suite, Canva, Word Press, etc.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- $25 an hour, about 10‑15 hours a week
