Overview
Operations Manager | Manufacturing | Day Shift
Location:
Farmington Hills, MI area
Adecco is happy to present the following opportunity on behalf of our manufacturing client.
We’re working with a Tier 1 automotive manufacturing operation to hire an Operations Manager to lead plant performance, production execution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
This role partners closely with Plant Leadership and plays a key role in driving safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
Responsibilities- Lead day-to-day production and plant operations
- Drive Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Own production planning, staffing, and throughput performance
- Lead and develop Supervisors and production leadership team
- Improve efficiency, scrap reduction, and material flow
- Support EHS initiatives and safety performance
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO standards, and internal operating systems
- Track KPIs and drive accountability across the floor
- Support budget planning and cost control initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Engineering, Operations, Business, or similar)
- 8–10+ years of manufacturing or operations leadership experience
- Strong automotive manufacturing background preferred
- Lean / CI experience required
- Proven leadership in fast-paced production environments
- Strong communication and floor leadership presence
- Day Shift
- On-site manufacturing environment
