Pre-Judgment Department Supervisor – Retail Litigation Location:
Farmington Hills, MI (Onsite)

About the Firm: We are a law firm based in Farmington Hills, Michigan, specializing in Consumer and Commercial Collections
. We are currently seeking an Assistant Manager for our Pre-Judgment Department in Retail Litigation. This position is ideal for candidates with prior leadership experience and a strong interest in legal work. The Supervisor will oversee various tasks, including document preparation
, case docket review
, inventory management
, and process development
.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise day-to-day operations of the Pre-Judgment Department
    .
  • Oversee document preparation
    , case docket reviews
    , and inventory management
    .
  • Identify, analyze, and solve problems both independently and within a team environment.
  • Assist in the development and improvement of department processes.
  • Ensure the department meets its high-volume, deadline-driven goals
    .
  • Maintain strong communication with team members, ensuring clarity on tasks and responsibilities.
Candidate Attributes:
  • Reliable with a strong work ethic.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment.
  • Effective team player with strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills are essential.
  • Prior leadership experience is a must.
Degree and

Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required;
    some college coursework is preferred.
  • Professional office experience is preferred.
  • Proven leadership experience is required.
  • Experience with project deadlines and working in both independent and team settings.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Attendance:
  • Reliable transportation is required.
  • Ability to work regular business hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday
