Your Role:
Assistant Branch Manager
As an Assistant Branch Manager, you will play a key leadership role in supporting branch operations, driving community engagement, and ensuring an exceptional member experience. You’ll partner closely with the Branch Manager to develop the team, strengthen community relationships, and meet performance goals. You’ll also serve as the acting Branch Manager when needed, providing guidance, support, and oversight across all branch functions.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Lead & Support the Branch:
Act as the Branch Manager in their absence and provide coverage for other branches as needed. - Build Community Connections:
Support branch leadership in establishing and maintaining strong partnerships with local organizations, schools, and businesses to boost community presence and drive sales. - Execute Outreach Programs:
Contribute to the development and execution of community outreach initiatives that align with Vibe’s mission and values. - Develop the Team:
Identify team members’ strengths and growth opportunities, help create development plans, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to improve performance and engagement. - Drive Branch Performance:
Assist in monitoring and analyzing branch performance data; recommend strategies to achieve sales, service, and membership goals. - Enhance Operations:
Support the development of branch products, services, procedures, and budgets in alignment with business needs. - Lead Daily Motivation:
Facilitate team huddles to discuss the Vibe Experience, promotions, goals, and member feedback. - Support Members:
Build strong relationships by actively listening to member needs, offering tailored financial solutions, and resolving issues promptly with care and professionalism. - Uphold Compliance:
Assist in maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, including NCUA guidelines; conduct surprise audits on vaults, cash dispensers, and teller drawers per schedule. - Oversee Branch Activity:
Oversee lobby operations and support team members with member services, cash operations, and lending functions. - Commit to Growth:

- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred but not required). - Experience:
Minimum 5 years' experience in financial services, leadership, retail banking, or member‑facing roles preferred.
- Strong leadership and coaching abilities
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to analyze data and make sound decisions
- Comfort navigating digital banking tools and systems
- Highly organized, adaptable, and service‑focused
