Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site (hybrid schedule available) role for a Litigation Paralegal at Michigan Auto Law, located in Grand Rapids, MI. The Litigation Paralegal will support attorneys in legal proceedings by preparing and reviewing legal documents, medical records, medical billing, conducting legal research, and managing pleadings and motions. Additional responsibilities include case management, maintaining organized case files, coordinating with clients and staff, and ensuring compliance with deadlines.
The role plays an essential part in ensuring smooth and timely case progression.
- Previous experience as a litigation paralegal, especially in personal injury cases in both liability and No-Fault cases is preferred
- Strong skills in Legal Document Preparation and Document Review
- Experience in conducting Legal Research
- Proficiency in preparing Pleadings and Motions
- Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and a legal team
- Proficiency in legal office software and technology; familiarity with case management systems is a plus
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field preferred;
Paralegal certification preferred
