Job Duties and Responsibilities

The Information Security Analyst monitors security breaches and compromises; responds to, investigates, and documents security incidents; and proactively searches for and remediates vulnerabilities within the various networks, computer systems, and peripheral devices. Security measures are to follow NCUA, GLBA, FFIEC and other banking industry standards and/or security frameworks that maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and ensures that member sensitive information remains private, accurate, and accessible.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Assist with the development, implementation, and administration of a comprehensive information security and incident response program.
  • Provide input and/or directly manage technology projects that increase the efficiency and security of the organization.
  • Assist with obtaining information and documentation required for IT Audits and Examinations. Create and execute a remediation plan for IT related security findings.
  • Ensure that the technology used by the Credit Union is security hardened, up-to-date, and operates properly and efficiently.
  • Administer and provide staff with the required Cybersecurity and Information Security training program curriculum.
  • Serve as a Tier 2 escalation Helpdesk Technician and assist with the implementation and deployment of various IT related projects.
