IT Support Specialist is responsible for analyzing, troubleshooting, and evaluating technology issues. This role will support internal clients, helping to keep employees productive. Humanetics Corporate Headquarters will be the main focus with secondary focus on all Humanetics Group offices.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities- Troubleshoot technological issues and solve problems quickly to ensure the business operations run smoothly
- Troubleshoot technological issues and solve problems quickly for employees
- Administer new user accounts, work email addresses, and access levels to new employees to ensure they have everything they need to work efficiently
- Assist with new hire equipment set up and training
- Assist with equipment set up for company meetings
- Install all new technology for the company, including computer operating systems, software programs and applications, new desktops, and other computer hardware
- Perform regular maintenance for our phone systems, computer systems, computers, printers, network systems, and any other technical equipment
- Ensure company computers are backed up so all files are saved in case the system crashes
- Run security checks on all of the company systems to ensure we are protected from cybersecurity threats
- Other tasks as assigned
- Strong knowledge/experience with IT ticketing systems
- Strong knowledge of support for Windows 10 & 11
- Strong knowledge of support for Microsoft Office 2016 & Office 365
- Perform basic administration tasks on Windows server 2012, 2016, 2022
- Working knowledge of Active Directory, DNS & DHCP
- Working knowledge of basic networking concepts (routing, switching, VLANs, port configs, etc)
- Ability to meet tight timelines and/or deadlines
Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting at a desk for prolonged periods.
Occasionally moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
Occasionally lifting up to 40 pounds
TravelUp to 10% domestic travel
