Overview

As a Behavior Technician at Total Spectrum, you’ll help children with autism learn, grow, and build communication, socialization, and self-help skills through play-based therapy known as applied behavior analysis (ABA). We are currently hiring for part-time Behavior Technicians in the area.
Total Spectrum has provided evidence-based, contemporary ABA therapy for nearly 10 years to help children, teens, and young adults with autism find success. LEARN Behavioral is a collective group of ABA providers delivering collaborative care and nurturing the potential of children with autism and special needs in communities from coast-to-coast. Total Spectrum is part of LEARN Behavioral.
Responsibilities- Work with kids aged 2–22 with autism and special needs in their homes, schools, or in one of our centers.
- Follow schedule overview:
Part-Time, with potential to build to Full-Time;
Hours between 8am–7pm EST, Monday–Friday, with possible weekends; a few evenings per week until 7pm will be required. - Earn starting pay at $18.00/hr and up with experience.
- Meet the minimum age requirement of 18 (on or before the first day of employment).
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid Driver’s License and personal vehicle required.
- Availability to work a consistent weekly schedule mornings, afternoons, and/or evenings.
- The ability to pass a background check.
- Desirable qualifications include bilingual English/Spanish, study in psychology/education/special education/childcare/behavioral health or related fields, and experience working with children (e.g., babysitter, nanny, tutor, teacher, coach, camp counselor, or other childcare roles).
- Full-time employees: up to 15 days of paid time off (PTO) after 90 days of employment.
- Part-time employees: eligible for sick leave.
- Working with kids in homes, schools, or centers; then potential career growth in ABA and related fields.
- Physical requirements vary by assignment and may include pushing, pulling, lifting up to 35 pounds, and moving quickly as needed.
