Staff Bright is partnering with a long-standing client located near Farmington Hills, MI, to hire a Corporate Tax Analyst for their corporate headquarters. This is a newly created position.

The ideal candidate will have one year of experience in public accounting and one year in a corporate tax environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Manage all aspects of tax matters, including accounting, compliance, forecasting, and planning
• Oversee indirect taxes, payroll taxes, and related filings
• Ensure compliance with U.S. federal, state, local, and international tax regulations
• Lead tax forecasting and planning initiatives
• Handle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Work independently with strong organizational and time management skills

What We'll Need from You:

• 2-4 years of experience working in a tax role
• Familiarity with U.S. federal and state tax regulations
• Experience with various tax types (income, sales/use, property, payroll)
• Skilled in tax research and analysis
• CPA is highly preferred
