** Typical Assignments
*** Retrieves and distributes, claims, x-rays, mail, and other materials
* Drives a company vehicle to collect mail from the local post office
* Collects, sorts, and prepares outgoing mail
* Collects and/or delivers mail and packages to/from designated work areas
* Assembles, sorts, copies, logs, files, and retrieves materials
* Screens documents for completeness, errors, and for appropriate information
* Prepares incoming mail and organizes mail trays
* Operates office equipment which may include personal computer, Omation letter opener, scanner, photocopier, calculator, personal computer, fax machine, etc.
* Maintains related department records and files

* Minimum Requirements:

*** Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
* Possess and maintain a valid (State of Michigan) driver’s license
* Ability to lift, load, and move items up to 25 pounds, bend and twist
* Ability to operate and maintain equipment and handle materials
* Successful completion of a physical and job-related functional screening assessment
