Sr Export Control Analyst – you will be part of a team that provides authoritative guidance on national and international regulations, including the ITAR and EAR, ensuring Bosch’s compliance. As part of our global Export Control team, you will further develop global standards and guidelines in U.S. export controls law in strong collaboration with international colleagues.
Job Responsibilities- Manage global risk, derive globally applicable governance requirements, and develop common minimum standards in the Export Controls fields of Jurisdiction and Classification, Technology Controls, Military Business, and Regulatory Tracking.
- Support monitoring of legal developments (Executive Orders, EAR, ITAR) and assess their impact on Bosch Group business activities globally.
- Support definition of appropriate measures and set related process requirements.
- Support conceptual design and further development of the U.S. export control process landscape for the Bosch Group with focus on U.S. laws and regulations, including further development of existing reporting systems and use of results for implementation of further requirements.
- Support export audits/health checks and monitor data analysis with regards to risk indicators in your assigned area.
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of export control experience, some of which must be with export control in the U.S. (EAR and ITAR); JD preferred.
- In‑depth knowledge of U.S. export control laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Continuous learner; willing to stay abreast and enjoy research.
- Ability to effectively coordinate activities and collaborate with groups.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and understand issues and resolve inquiries and develop appropriate solutions quickly, effectively, and independently.
- Knowledge of sanctions and export control laws in the EU & UN.
- Experience in the automotive industry and understanding of export compliance related to software and technology.
10% domestic and international.

The U.S. base salary range for this full‑time position is $114,000 – $132,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including but not limited to work experience, job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc. This range does not include annual bonus percentage nor other monetary considerations for the total compensation package.
