Registered Nurse CVOR | Farmerville, Louisiana

An opportunity is available for an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Registered Nurse to support a dynamic surgical team within a high-acuity cardiac surgical environment. This 13-week contract assignment is based in the Monroe, LA area, offering an engaging clinical setting that includes coverage of two CVOR rooms and one hybrid OR, collaborating closely with two surgeons.

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care in CVOR and hybrid OR settings during cardiac surgical procedures.
• Support surgical teams in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Monitor patient status, assist with surgical instruments, and ensure adherence to established protocols.
• Facilitate communication among team members to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license, Louisiana or compact state.
• Minimum of two years of CVOR experience preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
• Familiarity with cardiac surgery procedures and hybrid OR operations.
• Ability to work efficiently within a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
