As a Software Engineer Lead within PNC's C/IB MIS DIGITAL organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Dallas, TX.

Technical Responsibilities- Oversee the architecture and design of software solutions, ensuring they meet business and technical requirements.
- Ensure high‑quality code through code reviews and adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to the development team.
- Contribute to the solutions go‑to‑market, prioritize development efforts, shape solution direction, and drive new trends.
- Manage ambiguity, work independently, and solve problems across different functional teams.
- Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
- Facilitate complex problem resolution.
- Propose and design software solutions to address complex business needs, preparing technical and procedural documentation required.
- Apply modern principles, methodologies, and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities.
- Hands‑on experience with Java 8+, Spring Boot and other Spring Frameworks, Mongo
DB and microservice application development. - Expertise in core Java, asynchronous and reactive programming.
- Writing disciplined, well‑typed, efficient, testable, and maintainable code that gives other programmers complete control over the development process.
- Track record of delivering quality products.
- Passion for learning new technologies and developing skills.
- Knack for getting things done, whether independently or in a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Knowledge in Docker and Open Shift.
- Knowledge in build tools such as Gradle or Maven.
- Knowledge in enterprise CI/CD.
- Knowledge in Agile Practice.
- Passion for exploring diverse fields such as Machine Learning, AI and microservice architecture.
