As a Restaurant Supervisor, you are responsible for overseeing the daily food and beverage operations within the club’s restaurant, ensuring exceptional service and adherence to established standards and safety guidelines. Your primary focus is to ensure all operations and member services meet and exceed expectations. You will also actively participate in service during both low and high‑volume periods to support the team and uphold excellent service standards.
ReportingStructure
- Reports to the Restaurant Manager, Director of Restaurants, Director of Food & Beverage or Assistant Director of Food & Beverage
- Uphold Invited’s service standards as outlined in the service training program.
- Oversee the service of food and beverages to members and guests, ensuring adherence to the Invited’s standards of service and excellence.
- Directly and indirectly supervise service staff to ensure consistent service quality and exceptional member and guest experience.
- Accurately execute member and guest orders and special requests.
- Assist in implementing training and incentive programs to maintain a well‑trained staff focused on achieving service excellence, in alignment with the food & beverage service training program.
- Review reservation books and function sheets for your shift, ensuring room setups align with booking and event requirements.
- Initiate opening procedures for breakfast, lunch, or dinner shifts, and complete the required closing procedures.
- Inspect the cleanliness and setup of rooms, ensuring they are prepared for the next service or event and are ready for members.
- Document tasks and notes in the shift log to ensure effective communication for the following shift.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the à‑carte menu, including daily features and specials.
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of all liquors, beers, and wines available at the club.
- Actively participate in daily line‑ups, weekly service training meetings, and special training sessions as requested.
- Ensure completion of daily assignments and side work to club standards, including maintaining clean, sanitary work areas and restocking supplies as needed.
- Interact professionally with members and guests, accommodating changes and last‑minute requests to enhance their experience.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Due to the dynamic nature of the club, employees are expected to assist others as needed and take on additional tasks as assigned by management.
- Follow all company, club, and department policies, procedures, and instructions.
- Represent the company's management team by supporting and enforcing policies while maintaining the highest standards of ethics and integrity.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and a commitment to excellence in interactions with members, colleagues, and staff.
- Promote and follow safe working practices, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and encouraging others to do the same.
- Take the initiative in personal and professional growth and maintain any required certifications relevant to your role.
- Address and resolve challenges using available resources, working with regional and corporate teams to support club operations.
- Support the overall efficiency of the team by collaborating and contributing to the club’s goals.
