ResponsibilitiesThe Paralegal II is responsible for performing minimal administrative tasks and will handle moderately complex paralegal tasks to ensure the proper support is being provided to internal and external clients. The role will manage and monitor internal projects as assigned; research and draft of documents; manage client meetings as needed; take ownership of specific systems and duties as assigned; and communicate with all involved parties as needed.
In addition, a Paralegal II will support and mentor the Paralegal I staff to ensure understanding of Legal policies, procedures, and departmental goals.
- Bachelor’s degree and post-baccalaureate certification from an accredited paralegal program or relevant Industry Legal experience;
High school diploma/GED required - 3+ years of Mortgage/Real Estate legal experience
- 4 to 8 years of general legal experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Strong reading comprehension and written/verbal communication skills required
- Ability to manage large number of projects simultaneously and work within deadlines
- Knowledge of consumer financial regulations on a Federal, State and Local level
- Knowledge of the Mortgage Servicer or Real Estate industry

- The hiring range for this position is between $32.00-$34.00 per hour
- This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus
