SUMMARY: Drives gasoline or diesel powered straight truck or tractor trailer combination to transport and deliver supplies, raw materials, ingredients or finished product in bright or packaged form by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Partner with Quality Assurance, executing and supporting all Quality programs that ensure the production of Safe, Quality Foods.
- Drives truck to destination.
- Inspects truck for defects before and after trips and submits report indicating truck condition.
- Maintains driver log according to DOT regulations.
- Loads and unloads truck using power forklift ensuring product and material integrity is maintained in conjunction with Company policy and standards.

LICENSING REQUIREMENTSMust possess current valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and will be subject to all DOT requirements regarding driving record, random drug testing, demonstrated skills, etc.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEOne year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITYAbility to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
