- Complete electrical installations, electrical troubleshooting, program and troubleshoot PLCs (Programmable Logic Controls), program and troubleshoot VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives).
- Complete electrical and mechanical PMs, troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild equipment without direct supervision.
- Document work performed on equipment.
- Lead and guide teams to meet/exceed customer expectations & achieve strategic growth plans while following values & guiding principles.

- Perform duties in a safe manner using all approved safety equipment as instructed.
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs.
- Program and troubleshoot VFDs.
- Troubleshoot and repair electronics.
- Read and understand blueprints and wiring diagrams for diagnosing mechanical and electrical problems; troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment without direct supervision.
- Disassemble and diagnose mechanical failures; perform necessary repairs.
- Specify equipment for repairs and upgrades.
- Perform PMs as required.
- General fabrication skills including welding (MIG & TIG), plasma cutting, oxygen acetylene torch cutting, and band saw cutting.
- Install machinery.
- Maintain all equipment.
- Apply general plumbing skills to maintain equipment and facilities.
- Apply general HVAC skills to maintain equipment and facilities.
- Assist outside contractors repairing and installing machinery.
- Knowledge of pneumatics.
- Knowledge of hydraulics.
- Safely operate forklifts and scissor lifts.
- Snow removal.
- Maintain an effective working relationship with all employees.
- Maintain a neat and clean working area throughout the day.
- Inventory and control stock of supplies.
- Apply good work habits.
- Participate in Trystar’s Continuous Improvement efforts by understanding team performance and actively implementing and supporting process improvements.
- High School Diploma.
- 2 years of technical training in industrial maintenance or building repair and maintenance and 2 years of field experience as an industrial maintenance mechanic.
- Ability to read, write, and understand work instructions (English).
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Familiar with operating power tools.
- Ability to take supervision.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work as a team member.
