• Complete electrical installations, electrical troubleshooting, program and troubleshoot PLCs (Programmable Logic Controls), program and troubleshoot VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives).
• Complete electrical and mechanical PMs, troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild equipment without direct supervision.
• Document work performed on equipment.
• Lead and guide teams to meet/exceed customer expectations & achieve strategic growth plans while following values & guiding principles.

• Perform duties in a safe manner using all approved safety equipment as instructed.
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs.
• Program and troubleshoot VFDs.
• Troubleshoot and repair electronics.
• Read and understand blueprints and wiring diagrams for diagnosing mechanical and electrical problems; troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment without direct supervision.
• Disassemble and diagnose mechanical failures; perform necessary repairs.
• Specify equipment for repairs and upgrades.
• Perform PMs as required.
• General fabrication skills including welding (MIG & TIG), plasma cutting, oxygen acetylene torch cutting, and band saw cutting.
• Install machinery.
• Maintain all equipment.
• Apply general plumbing skills to maintain equipment and facilities.
• Apply general HVAC skills to maintain equipment and facilities.
• Assist outside contractors repairing and installing machinery.
• Knowledge of pneumatics.
• Knowledge of hydraulics.
• Safely operate forklifts and scissor lifts.
• Snow removal.
• Maintain an effective working relationship with all employees.
• Maintain a neat and clean working area throughout the day.
• Inventory and control stock of supplies.
• Apply good work habits.
• Participate in Trystar’s Continuous Improvement efforts by understanding team performance and actively implementing and supporting process improvements.

• High School Diploma.
• 2 years of technical training in industrial maintenance or building repair and maintenance and 2 years of field experience as an industrial maintenance mechanic.
• Ability to read, write, and understand work instructions (English).
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Familiar with operating power tools.
• Ability to take supervision.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work as a team member.
