Position: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Locums - CRNA (Float Pool) - Faribault & Owatonna, Minnesota

Schedule & Coverage

• Regular:
  Monday-Thursday (elective cases)

• Fridays: Emergent only - typically C-section and possibly one additional case

• Shift Length: 8-hour days + call

• Call Requirements (mandatory):

• Overnight & weekend call

• Weekend call: 7:00am - 7:00am

• PM call: 3:30pm - 7:00am

• All call is beeper call; 30-minute response time

• Sleep rooms provided at both sites

Float Expectation:
Providers must float between Faribault and Owatonna (20 minutes apart)
Full-time availability strongly preferred

Case Types:
General & OB

Skills Required:

• Strong OB experience mandatory

• VBAC/TOLAC experience required

• Epidurals and TAP blocks required for call

• Spinal & peripheral blocks

• PEDs, ENT
  No cardiac surgeries performed at either location

• TEEs & cardioversions done by cardiologist - CRNAs do NOT perform TEEs

• Adults & Pediatrics

Support

• Faribault:
  Unsupervised model - strong independent CRNA needed

• Owatonna:
  Supervised model; physicians available for assistance

Requirements

• Active Minnesota CRNA License - required for quick start

• Board Certified (NBCRNA)

• ACLS & BLS Required

• Minimum 1 year of experience

• EMR:
  Epic
