Starting Wage: $26.83 + $2.30 shift differential

Shift: 2nd shift, Monday - Thursday, 5:00 pm - 3:30 am

What you will do :

• Read and interpret blue prints , sketches or product specifications to determine sequence and methods of fabricating, assembling and installing sheet metal products, including machine adjustments and material requirements per engineering requirements.

• Visually inspect incoming sheet metal material to ensure product meets quality standards.

• Spot weld, bolt, rives, screw, clip, caulk or bond component parts to assemble panels.

• Inspect assemblies and installation for conformance to specifications.

• Operate computer equipment to read drawings of product or system including Doc Vu , VKS and AMS.

• Perform basic maintenance functions according to equipment needs.

• Coordinate work flow , paperwork and communications to meet production needs, as directed by the team leader or supervisor.

• Train new members on the various machines, procedures, safe work practices and any pertinent items regarding safety, quality and production.

• Responsible for maintaining the 5s program to ensure a clean work area.

• Follow and understand HOMESafe , Personal Choice and company safety manual requirements.

• Identify and rework defective work pieces to comply with quality standards.

• Ability to use hand tools.

• Operate PIT (Powered Industrial Trucks), obtain PIT License.

• All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Ability to operate hand tools

• Ability to read and understand written English

Preferred Qualifications :

• High School Diploma or GED

• Previous manufacturing experience
