Overview

Direct Care and Treatment (DCT) is seeking caring individuals to join our team as Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN). This is a part-time opportunity located in Faribault, MN. Working title and job class reflect the role:
Licensed Practical Nurse. DCT operates under Minnesota State Operated Community Services (MSOCS).

Note:

The LPN’s primary responsibilities are to provide respectful, comprehensive, and person-centered direct care services to individuals in residential homes operated by MSOCS. Primary responsibilities include: taking vital signs, administering medications, maintaining clinical charts, promoting rehabilitation activities, maintaining a clean and hazard-free environment, supporting clients’ personal hygiene, administering certain injections as needed, providing emergency first aid, ordering supplies, and operating a motor vehicle with a valid driver’s license.

Current employees are not eligible for the hiring bonus.

• Must possess licensure in Minnesota as a Practical Nurse
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Future Practical Nurses within six (6) months of graduating and taking NCLEX-LPN are encouraged to apply; contingent offers may be made upon successful degree completion and NCLEX-LPN passing
