Job Description:

A 1.0 FTE Long-term Substitute Early Childhood teacher position for Roosevelt Early Learning Center. Qualified candidates will offer a developmentally appropriate learning environment, with the focus on cognitive, social/emotional, language, literacy, and physical/motor development of students. This teacher will also work with classroom paraprofessionals to create a warm welcoming environment for parents and children. The position is 5 days a week from 7:30 AM-3:30 PM.

This position commences on February 2nd to March 19th, 2026. Faribault Early Childhood is a part of the Minnesota Centers of Excellence Pyramid Model. Applicants with knowledge and experience in a multi-tiered system of support for young learners are preferred.

• Early Childhood Education License required
• Ability to work with young children in a team setting
• 2+ years experience preferred
• Experience working with a diverse population and special needs helpful
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs
• In connection with the handling of children for the facilitation programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations

Licensure necessary for position:
State of Minnesota Early Childhood License
