Key Responsibilities
- Field Testing: Perform on-site, ASTM-standard tests on fresh concrete, including slump, air content, and temperature.
- Sampling & Inspection: Sample concrete from trucks and inspect material consistency to meet project specifications.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve concrete quality issues on job sites.
- Communication: Act as a liaison between the plant, customers, and contractors to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Safety Adherence: Maintain strict compliance with safety policies, including OSHA/MSHA guidelines and PPE requirements.
- ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician – Grade I certification
- Knowledge of ASTM/ACI standards.
- Ability to read and interpret project specifications and mix designs.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50–75 lbs and work in varying weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license for travel to various job sites.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in construction, specifically with concrete
