Overview
Sign-on bonus available for qualified applicants. This individual will be responsible for the effective repair of equipment and components at high levels of quality. Work must be safe, professional, and timely. Depending on experience, the Service Technician may work under direct supervision. Potential for overtime.
Compensation: $25 – $40+/hour
- Eligible for efficiency bonus program based on individual performance
- Sign-on Bonus available for qualified applicants
- Training and development, as well as opportunities to grow within the organization
- Diagnose, inspect, recondition, repair, assemble, and service equipment as assigned by the supervisor.
- Document machine information and repairs completed on work orders, including parts and fluids used.
- Maintain a clean work area and care for all shop tools, machines, and equipment.
- Identify and communicate solutions for customer service opportunities in the dealership’s area of responsibility.
- Maintain technical and product knowledge on all equipment sold within the dealership’s area of responsibility.
- Follow safety rules and regulations and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Conduct yourself professionally in the presence of customers and the community.
- Proactively participate in available company-sponsored training to develop knowledge and skills.
- Participate in company/location communication efforts (open book meetings, huddles, department meetings).
- Maintain positive, professional working relationships with peers, management, and support resources, with a commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Excellent mechanical skills and experience with trade-specific tooling (hand and pneumatic).
- Strong computer, oral and written communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to assemble and perform maintenance on equipment.
- Graduation from a related diesel technology program preferred.
- Candidates must have valid work authorization to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
