You’ll be responsible for diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on a wide range of heavy equipment used in large-scale dirt and rigging projects. • Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy construction equipment including dozers, loaders, excavators, and other machinery
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently
• Maintain accurate service records and report issues proactively
• Work closely with operators and field supervisors to prioritize repairs and minimize downtime
• Utilize diagnostic tools and service manuals to troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Perform field repairs and emergency breakdown service when needed
• Ensure shop and field safety procedures are followed at all times
• Assist with equipment mobilization and setup for new job sites

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience as a heavy equipment mechanic or diesel technician
• Proficiency with hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine systems
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in the shop and field
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment maintenance software
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Must pass background check as part of onboarding, in compliance with applicable laws
