In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring uninterrupted power in mission-critical environments, from data centers to hospitals.

As a Senior Field Service Technician, you will:

• Execute Service Work: Follow agreed workflows and ABB standard processes to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair critical power systems, including UPS, PDUs, and static switches.
• Enhance Customer Satisfaction: Build strong relationships with customers, understand their needs, and identify new sales opportunities.
• Coordinate Resources: Ensure all materials and equipment meet quality standards for service activities.
• Mentor Junior Technicians: Provide guidance and support to help them develop their skills.
• Document and Report: Prepare all necessary documentation and reports for customer representatives.
• Proactively Troubleshoot: Identify potential equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Promote Safety: Apply safety rules and practices, reporting any unsafe practices or incidents.

We’re looking for candidates who have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent military experience. Alternatively, an Associate's Degree with 2+ years of experience in servicing critical power equipment will be considered.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and project management tools.
• A valid US Driver's License .
• A strong sense of urgency and the ability to work well with others.

This position is primarily remote , serving the North Dakota and South Dakota regions. You’ll be contributing to our Electrification Smart Power division, where your expertise will directly impact our mission-critical infrastructure.

The expected salary for this position ranges from $65,100 to $104,160 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
