Location: Based out of 1434 5th Avenue N, Fargo, ND 58102
Frequent travel required for the role; most often day travel.
Expected Hours of Work: Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 7:30AM to 5PM.
Reports to: Vice President of Service Operations
About the Company
Electric Pump, Inc and its family of companies have been in operation for the last 45 years providing fluid handling equipment to our customers in the industrial, municipal, and environmental markets. In addition, we are the largest pump service organization in the upper Midwest. Electric Pump is comprised of eight locations in seven states with approximately 120 employees. Our offices have a friendly, laid-back environment and we are active in monthly philanthropy events that encourage employee involvement.
Some of our regular philanthropy projects involve volunteering at the Food Bank, Toys for Tots, Adopt-A-Family for Christmas, and a spring-cleaning donation drive for a local domestic violence shelter. We always welcome new philanthropy opportunities as well.

Job SummaryThe service technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain customer's equipment.
Essential Functions
Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 75 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma/GED and some mechanical repair experience required. Post-secondary or trade school; or previous pump repair experience is preferred but not required.
