Base pay range: $14.00/hr - $16.50/hr

The primary purpose of the Maintenance Assistant is to ensure the highest quality and cleanliness of resident care available, support staff and establish a positive reputation in the community while delivering on the Eduro Health Care values of wellness, compassion, customer experience and company results. This position is responsible for maintaining the facility.

• Report to Maintenance Director/Supervisor
• Make minor repairs on handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, electrical equipment, emergency lighting, fire alarms, extinguishers, change filters on HVAC equipment, lifts and stock supplies.
• Take care of the tools and equipment.
• Operate in the TELS platform system for all Life Safety, regulatory and daily tasks.
• Use and operate all garden equipment, snow removal tools, carpenter tools, plumbing tools, painting tools, electrical tools, heating and cooling tools, housekeeping tools, appliance repair tools, general maintenance tools, van, truck, ladder, etc.

• Successful completion of a training and competency evaluation program required.
• Completion of orientation required by company policy.
• Health screening and TB test (if required) within two weeks of employment.
• Mandatory drug test within 90 days of hire.
• Must be free of criminal activity proven by a criminal background check.
• Show within three (3) days of hire satisfactory evidence of identity and eligibility for employment.
• High school Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Maintenance.
