Jail Operations Support plays a crucial role in providing services within the adult jail facility. This position is a non-security position that supports all jail operational efforts but does not directly supervise inmates. This position requires a strong commitment to regulations and procedures, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a challenging environment.
Position includes working nights, holidays, and weekends.
Annual Salary: $44,396 – $48,620. Additional salary growth available through regular increases within the classification up to $61,299.

- Medication Administration
- Accurately administer prescribed medications to inmates following established protocols.
- Document medication administration and any observed side effects.
- Report adverse reactions promptly to nursing staff.
- Operational Support
- Assist in various areas of the jail on an as needed basis.
- Train for security control operation, records entry, and court records management.
- Assist with deliveries, procurement, and logistics for the facility.
- Assist with internal operational functions.
- Emergency Response
- Assist during emergencies within the facility.
- Follow emergency protocols and provide immediate support as directed.
- Work closely with security staff, medical staff, and administrative staff.
- Communicate effectively with team members and facility staff.
- Security Awareness
- Understand security protocols and maintain situational awareness while working in a correctional setting.
- Follow safety guidelines to prevent incidents.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
- Confidentiality and ethical conduct are essential.
- Able to pass a comprehensive background investigation process.
