The Opportunity

This position reports to the Senior Director of Business Operations and Field Services.
- Develop and execute territory and sales/account plans that deliver sales results and client satisfaction.
- Listen to clients, discuss today's challenges and evolving needs with compelling, comprehensive solutions.
- Invest in and have a keen awareness of developing consultative and engineering/surveying/environmental technologies and solutions.
- Engage with the industry and with clients to effectively represent Ulteig, enhance Ulteig's reputation, and build high‑impact and influential relationships with new and current clients.
- Identify, develop, and convert opportunities with new and existing clients within the survey and environmental markets.
- Develop and execute territory and business development plans based on the client's immediate and long‑term challenges and needs.
- Partner internally on key, complex projects and, as needed, provide key project oversight.
- Lead through influence across the organization, working closely with finance, technical, field, and market development team members.
- Partner across the organization (Client Solutions, Marketing, Proposals, Project Management, Engineering/Operations, Finance, Legal) to pursue, propose, and win business.
- Bachelor's degree required;
Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or Finance degree preferred. - Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, client management, and project development required.
- Experience in selling to clients needing field services.
- Proven experience in proposal development.
- Strong business acumen: strategic partnerships, innovation, project management, proposals, business development.
- Strong reputation in the energy markets, speaking and thought leadership experience at industry events, and solid working relationships with clients.
- Demonstrated business development results and success.
- Highly motivated and results‑driven.
- Demonstrates ability to influence and collaborate with individuals at all levels in the organization.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with current and potential clients and internal colleagues.
- Possesses well‑rounded knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures of associated industries.
- Demonstrates excellent facilitation, presentation, verbal/written communications, time‑management, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrates the ability to be organized, work on multiple projects, and meet deadlines by setting priorities with work projects.
- Demonstrates openness to innovation by embracing and applying evolving technology and AI tools to enhance workflows, solve problems, and drive continuous improvement.
- Must have authorization to work permanently in the U.S.
