Retail Supervisor - Inventory

Part‑time position at WIS International located in Fargo, ND. The role focuses on coaching and training inventory associates to achieve operational excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Coach and train Inventory Associates – accuracy is critical.
  • Follow a clear, consistent workflow and serve as the primary point of contact for event‑related concerns.
  • Lead and engage the team to maximize productivity, foster engagement, and support directives from the Area or District Manager.
  • Uphold and promote WIS core values:

  • Act as backup to the Area Manager at inventory events.
  • Lead on‑site inventories in conjunction with the Area Manager, using WIS standardized processes.
  • Assist with planning and execution of district travel and equipment logistics.
  • Ensure Inventory Associates understand event procedures and receive guidance on each event.
  • Demonstrate safe behaviors at all times and ensure the safety of all associates at an event.
  • Act as an expert on WIS core values, safety protocols, and policies.
Qualifications
  • Minimum age 18.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience as an Inventory Associate or similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong time‑management skills.
  • Effective customer service and conflict resolution skills focused on providing solutions.
  • Ability to work flexibleted schedules, including varying hours for district and customer commitments.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, remain active during shifts; lift and carry up to 25 lbs.; perform repetitive motions with both hands and wrists.
  • Comfortable learning handheld scanners or count tools.
  • Strong focus and attention to detail.
  • Reliable attendance and commitment to consistency.
  • Positive, team‑oriented attitude.
  • Access to reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to submit to a pre‑employment investigative consumer report and drug screen if required.
  • Valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, or meeting WIS fleet driver requirements may be required.
  • Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered under LA County FCO and the California Fair Chance Act.
