Assistant Store Manager
Central Network Retail Group, LLC (CNRG) is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to ensure smooth store operations in the Manager’s absence. The role requires a strong understanding of CNRG’s mission, values, and operational standards, as well as a commitment to aggressive customer service and effective team leadership.
Responsibilities- Exemplify and promote CNRG’s Mission and Values in daily business.
- Define and demonstrate aggressive customer service to exceed expectations.
- Assist in achieving store budgeted goals through key associates and personal actions.
- Maintain proper merchandising of the retail sales floor according to company standards.
- Ensure merchandise is received, stored, and merchandised in all departments following operational and safety procedures.
- Monitor delivery procedures to guarantee on‑time loading and prompt, courteous customer service for pick‑ups.
- Encourage commercial sales associates to pursue new commercial customers while maintaining high customer service.
- Report unusual occurrences promptly to the Store Manager and resolve issues immediately as needed.
- Lead all associates in the Manager’s absence, providing direction and consistent feedback to ensure adherence to company policies and standards.
- Assist in recruiting, selecting, and training new associates.
- Create a collaborative team environment throughout the store.
- Maintain certifications in all store areas (inside/outside forklifts, DOT, gate, receiving, and service desk).
- Complete the HCI product knowledge course and master all store customer service skills (e.g., banding lumber, cutting keys, mixing paint, keying locks, cutting flooring).
- Perform any additional duties assigned by the supervisor or company official.
• Excellent leadership, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage with limited supervision.
• Strong oral and written communication skills for interacting with customers, vendors, and associates.
• Experience interpreting data and using statistical or numerical information to assess and coordinate merchandise and operations.
• Detail oriented, able to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Physical capability to climb, lift up to 50 lbs., reach, bend, twist, kneel, and stock overhead areas.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
