Job Description:
Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR)
Department/Unit: Operating Room (OR)
Position Type: Contract-Traveler
Shift: Days
Shift Description: Variable start and end times, 8 or 10 hour shifts - 40 hours per week. Willingness to stay late as needed based on case requirements. This time is not considered a call back. One day per week and one weekend every 3 to 4 weeks.
Position Requirements:
- Experience: 2+ years of nursing experience
- License: Active ND or Compact RN License (willing to obtain)
- Specialization: General, Neuro, and Ortho Experience (required)
- Certifications: Active ACLS (highly preferred), Active BLS (must be AHA certified), Active PALS (highly preferred)
- Hospital Experience: Large hospital experience - 250 plus beds with level 1 trauma status
- Operating Room Experience: Experience working in an acute facility with 25 or more OR suites. Outpatient center experience will not be a match.
- Will work on the Neuro team.
- Call duty required on one day a week and one weekend every 3 to 4 weeks.
