Our Pediatric Specialty Clinic is looking for an LPN to join the team!
This role will support our pediatric surgery department where our team of surgeons see patients for a variety of surgical needs. The LPN duties include rooming patients for their clinic visit, assisting with procedures performed in the clinic, and other duties to ensure the patient’s healthcare needs are met. Staff, along with pediatric surgeons, will also go to outreach clinics throughout the region to increase access to specialized care.

Working hours:
Monday‑Friday 8:00 am‑5:00 pm, no weekends or holidays.

SummaryThe Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will participate in the implementation and evaluation of patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician.
Job Description / ResponsibilitiesEnsures the health, comfort, and safety of patients. Documents a thorough medical history. Contributes to the assessment of patients and administers medications or treatments as ordered. Provides technical support to healthcare professionals as needed. Counsels patients and family members, under the direction of a registered nurse, on prevention and treatment plans. The LPN demonstrates competence and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge, utilizing appropriate age‑ and population‑specific standards as designated in the assigned clinical setting.
Qualifications- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- If IV therapy/management skills are required, completion of a Board‑approved AASPN program with IV therapy in the curriculum, or an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing.
- Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with the State Nursing Board and/or possesses multi‑state licensure privileges.
- Obtain and maintain required department‑specific competencies and certifications.
