The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation—to provide individualized nursing care to dialysis patients. The RN coordinates care, performs patient assessment, provides patient education, and implements various nursing interventions. The RN collaborates with physicians and inter‑professional colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate dialysis care. The RN demonstrates competency within the full scope of nursing expertise, utilizes appropriate technology, delegates to and supervises unlicensed personnel, and assumes overall nursing accountability for patient care.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program required.
• Current unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing; multistate licensure acceptable.
