Maintenance Technician
Join a collaborative team of 4–5 maintenance professionals in a large, clean, and fully air‑conditioned manufacturing plant. You’ll play a critical role in keeping production running smoothly by performing preventative and emergency maintenance on specialized equipment used in glass fabrication.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventative and emergency maintenance across the entire plant
- Respond quickly to line‑down situations to restore production
- Work on conveyor belts, chains, rollers, cutting tables, overhead racking systems and specialized glass equipment (sealing machines, trim benders, adhesive machines, etc.)
- Complete all documentation and work orders on a tablet to track maintenance and parts usage
- Replace rollers, cutting wheels, grinding wheels, etching blades, and perform routine greasing
- Troubleshoot and repair small motors
; swap out defective components - Assist in scheduling projects requiring plumbing or advanced electrical work
- Use hand and power tools (rivet gun, chisel, crowbar, etc.) for repairs and adjustments
- 2+ years of mechanical experience (automotive, industrial, construction, or diesel mechanics welcome)
- Ability to read a multimeter and trace electrical wiring
- Welding/fabrication skills are a plus
- Strong experience with hand and power tools
- Safety‑conscious and detail‑oriented
- Fully air‑conditioned facility – a major upgrade for comfort
- All tools provided

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fargo, ND.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr eligible employees may receive medical, dental, vision, critical illness, accident, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, short and long‑term disability, health spending account, transportation benefits, employee assistance program, and paid time off.
