Full-time, 5:30-4:00 Monday – Thursday. Overtime is possible.

This position will lead a team of 5 fabrication & machining operators and will be responsible for coordinating all fabrication activities within the department as well as operating equipment as necessary to keep on schedule. We are looking for a team member that has great attention to detail, works well in a team environment and is dependable, trustworthy and self‑motivated to lead our fabrication department.

• Program, setup, operate and maintain a variety of fabrication and machining equipment to include saws, lasers, press brakes, folder, mills and lathes.
• Manage staff, scheduling, operations and training of the department.
• Communicate and work effectively with all other supervisors and operations staff.
• Ensure components are made on time, to specifications, and in a cost effective manner.
• Ensure that employees are cross‑trained where possible.
• Prioritize work orders and move employee availability around quickly when needed to meet the schedule.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance.
• Organize and move parts from Fab to downstream departments.
• Ensure a safe and clean workplace.

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing with an emphasis on machining and fabrication.
• Machining experience on mills and lathes, including programming and tooling design.
• Strong understanding of MRP systems and production efficiencies.
• Continuous improvement mindset.
• Excellent written, verbal, personal and organizational skills.
