Traveling Superintendent

Overview

Superintendent — Mission‑Critical (Field Leadership)

Position Summary:

Lead field execution on a large‑scale, hyperscale data center program. Oversee safety, logistics, sequencing, and productivity while developing multiple field leaders and driving Lean performance.

• Plan the work:
  Build site logistics, safety plans, and phased execution strategies; align short‑interval planning with the critical path.
• Run daily operations:
  Lead huddles, weekly work plans, deliveries, and subcontractor coordination; maintain drawings and inspection records.
• Own the schedule:
  Develop and adjust field sequencing, remove constraints, and facilitate pull‑planning.
• Drive quality:
  Execute QC processes, manage inspections and punchlist, and ensure smooth commissioning and turnover.
• Manage costs:
  Track labor, materials, and equipment; support cost projections and protect margin through productivity.
• Build people & culture:
  Mentor superintendents/assistants/foremen and champion safety and OSHA compliance.

• 5+ years of field leadership on large, complex projects.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, Word, and Bluebeam.
• Demonstrated Lean/continuous improvement experience.

• Two‑ or four‑year construction degree; OSHA‑30 and CPR/First Aid.
• Experience managing labor across multiple projects; strong communication skills.

This is a Permanent position based out of Fargo, ND.

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $180000.00/yr.
