Job Title: Crop Claims Processing Supervisor
Job Location: Fargo, ND (USA)

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

• Supervises daily activities of claims processing and payment functions.
• Establishes work procedures and standards; evaluates work methods and implements new procedures and operations.
• Maintains various reports and management controls; verifies statistical coverage information as requested; provides status report on Processing unit(s) to Claims Manager.
• Coordinates the work activities of the unit; responsible for day‑to‑day work and procedures; assigns and checks work; monitors and controls quality, productivity, and workflow.
• Provides technical guidance to staff; maintains high‑level system(s) knowledge sufficient to instruct staff on automated system(s) and processing workflows.
• Identifies operational and/or potential systemic problems, determines root causes, and ensures that solutions are implemented promptly.
• Responsible for performance and coaching of staff and has a participatory role in decisions regarding talent selection, development, and performance management; provides training to new members of the team.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Education:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience:
  
  Generally 4 to 6 years of related experience, including 0 to 2 years of leadership experience.

This job is non‑exempt in California.
