• Oversee clinic and/or hospital laboratories, managing employee hiring, scheduling, conflict resolution, and performance appraisals.
• Maintain workflow policies, procedures, financial review, and continuous quality management and improvement.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and serve as CLIA director and/or technical consultant for designated laboratories.
• Maintain client relationships with external organizations, supporting the laboratory system leadership strategy.

Minimum of 5 years of laboratory experience with at least 2 years of leadership experience.

• Graduate of a four-year degree in Clinical Laboratory Science OR meets CLIA guidelines for complexity of testing for alternative route.
• Current American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or equivalent certification.
• Maintains licensure per state requirement if working in North Dakota sites or Moorhead, MN site.
• Obtain MLS certification within 1 year of hire AND maintains state licensure as above.
