Please note: This role is in-person and based in Fargo, ND.

Arthur Companies is seeking a motivated IT Intern to support our technology team across our multi-location agricultural operations. This internship provides hands‑on experience in real-world technology environments, supporting business systems, infrastructure, and software development initiatives.

• Provide first‑level technical support to end users (in person, phone, or remote)
• Assist with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
• Support user account setup and permissions management
• Help maintain and deploy laptops, desktops, and mobile devices
• Document support tickets and resolutions
• Assist with cybersecurity best practices and updates

• Assist in developing and testing internal applications or system enhancements
• Support ERP system improvements (e.g., Microsoft F&O, related platforms)
• Participate in reporting automation and data integration projects
• Write, test, and debug code under supervision
• Help document system processes and technical workflows
• Support data validation and system optimization initiatives

• Support technology documentation and SOP development
• Participate in cross‑department technology projects
• Assist with system audits and security compliance tasks
• Collaborate with accounting, operations, and leadership teams
• Complete special projects as assigned

• Currently enrolled in college, technical school, or post‑high school IT/technology training program
  • Degree focus in Information Technology, MIS, Cybersecurity, or related field preferred
• Basic understanding of computer systems and customer service principles
• Strong problem‑solving skills
• Willingness to learn in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality

• Real‑world ERP and agricultural business systems experience
• Exposure to cybersecurity and IT governance
• Cross‑functional technology implementation
• Multi‑location infrastructure support
• Project‑based development experience

• Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer
• Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds (equipment setup)
• Ability to travel occasionally to branch locations if needed
• Other requirements as duties evolve
