Role Overview The Systems Lead is responsible for the oversight and coordination of several enterprise systems, ensuring operational continuity and effective response to outages. This position acts as a central point of contact for system alerts, activities, and improvements, working closely with operations and other stakeholders. The role emphasizes organizational and leadership skills over deep technical expertise, requiring a broad understanding of system functions and interdependencies.

The Systems Lead supports claim modernization initiatives and drives defect prioritization to enhance system reliability and performance.##

Key Responsibilities
* Monitor multiple systems to identify issues, alerts, and outages.
* Coordinate with operations teams to facilitate timely response and resolution of system incidents.
* Manage and assess the impact of outages and downtime, communicating findings to relevant stakeholders.
* Align system activities and improvements with ongoing claim modernization initiatives.
* Organize and prioritize defects, collaborating with teams to drive system enhancements.
* Maintain oversight of system health, ensuring adherence to operational standards and best practices.
* Document and communicate system status, outage impact, and improvement plans.## Systems Managed

** Required skills**- Typically 10 or more years of related experience
** Preferred Skills/Experience**- Considerable knowledge of assigned business line or functional area  - Strong organizational and analytical skills  - Thorough knowledge of project management  - Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data  - Demonstrated leadership skills  - Master's degree preferred
