Position OverviewWe are hiring a Payroll & Benefits Coordinator for a large, multi-site organization. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys detailed, process-driven work, clear expectations, and supporting others through accurate and reliable administrative services.
EligibilityThis position is specifically intended for individuals on the autism spectrum. You must have a formal autism diagnosis to be eligible to apply.
Key Responsibilities- Process semi-monthly payroll accurately and on time
- Review timecards, payroll records, and reports for accuracy
- Support benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and billing
- Answer employee questions related to payroll and benefits
- Maintain confidential employee and payroll records
- Assist with audits, reporting, and year-end payroll activities
- Follow documented procedures and support process improvements
- Collaborate with payroll, benefits, and HR team members
Required
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll, benefits, HR, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes
- Comfort working with numbers, records, and deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and communicate clearly
Preferred
- Associate degree or higher in business, accounting, or a related field
- Experience with HRIS or payroll systems
- Familiarity with employment and payroll regulations
- Office or hybrid administrative setting
- Occasional extended hours during payroll cycles
- Fast-paced but structured environment with clear workflows
