Restaurant Manager

Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is currently seeking an exceptional Restaurant Manager for the Urban 42 Restaurant inside the Delta Hotels by Marriott in Fargo, ND.

Base pay range

$50,000.00/yr – $60,000.00/yr

About the role

As the Urban 42 Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for planning and overseeing the operations of the restaurant, bar, room service, and other food and beverage outlets as necessary. Your primary goals will be to achieve customer satisfaction, deliver quality service, comply with corporate and franchise policies, and adhere to federal, state, and local regulations, all while meeting or exceeding financial objectives.

Recommending promotional ideas and controlling the budgets for the various areas. Warm, knowledgeable service and helpful guidance reassure guests they’ve made the right choice to stay with us.

Ideal Candidate
  • Ability to study, analyze and interpret complex activities.
  • High level of communication skills to negotiate, convince, sell and influence management, guests and corporate clients.
  • Excellent listening skills for telephone and face-to-face interaction with guests, vendors, corporate office and associates.
  • Strong vision for administrative responsibilities (forecast, purchase orders, budget review and invoice approval).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interactions with guests, corporate representatives, vendors and associates throughout the entire workday.
  • Genuine interest in hospitality; desire to make others feel welcome, comfortable and cared for.
  • Collaborative spirit and enjoyment of teamwork.
  • Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, or Hyatt processes and standards is an advantage.
Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the leadership team at the property.
  • Oversee all catering, restaurant oversight, room service, and lounge operations.
  • Partner with leadership team on budgeting and financial decisions.
  • Assist with and oversee inventory and tracking.
  • Work 40–50 hours per week minimum.
  • Participate in rotating weekends as Manager‑on‑Duty.
