We are seeking a Cardiac Catheterization Radiologist (Cath Lab Rad) for an immediate travel opening in Fargo, ND. The right candidate must have 1 year of experience. The role includes advanced diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures such as cardiac catheterization, peripheral vascular procedures, and structural heart procedures. Responsibilities include scrubbing, monitoring, and assisting providers as requested.
Responsibilities- Prepare cardiac lab procedure rooms ensuring adequate stock, instrument sterilization, and working condition.
- Prepare patient and equipment for cardiac lab procedures: site of entry, draping patient, arranging sterilized instruments and catheters, and calibrating and setting up pressure transducers and tubing.
- Operate and ensure quality control of all equipment utilized in the cardiac cath lab. Knowledge of all related equipment within the laboratory.
- Scrub in during procedures, assisting the physician in maneuvering catheters.
- Obtain and record hemodynamic, electrical, and angiographic data by operating–hemodynamic and electrical amplifiers and digital and line fluoroscopic equipment.
- Monitor the patient's hemodynamic status during procedures in the cardiac cath lab.
- Participate in life‑saving measures such as defibrillation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a Cath Lab or equivalent setting.
- BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) – CI preferred or CCI‑RCIS certification.
- State‑specific licensing requiring, as applicable.
- Proficiency with the ARRT, BLS, and 2‑Year clinical certifications is required.
Applicants must be able to stand, walk, and bend for long periods without difficulty.
