ShiftMonday‑Friday 1pm‑10pm and required to work every other weekend and being on an on call rotation. Have to be able to be flexible with hours.

Job SummaryThe Residential Supervisor position is to provide training, coaching, and mentoring to the residential Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Taylor Made Living (TML). This position oversees the direct implementation and supervision of services and cares provided to the adults residing at Taylor Made Living. The Residential Supervisor is to perform supervised tasks related to delivery of health, medication, personal cares, therapeutic, behavioral, recreational, and leisure activities for the individuals at Taylor Made Living contributing to the overall Person‑Centered Service Plan (PCSP) and positive behavior support (PBS) plans.
Provides supervision of and implements services and cares provided on behalf of the individuals residing at TML.
This position works collaboratively with residents and team members at TML to ensure the delivery of high‑quality, individualized services. The Residential Supervisor plays a key role in promoting effective communication and teamwork by supervising Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) ensuring the consistent and person‑centered implementation of each individual’s Overall Service Plan. Additional core responsibilities include schedule coordination, ongoing training, coaching, and mentoring to support staff performance and quality outcomes.
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills, a solid understanding of positive behavior support practices, and the flexibility needed to meet the needs of individuals and their families. The role requires the ability to work collaboratively with families, service providers, and internal team members; respond promptly and effectively to crisis situations; and maintain safe, well‑organized home environments. Additional responsibilities include supporting the Program Coordinator as needed and proactively identifying, problem‑solving, and communicating critical issues to leadership to ensure continuous quality improvement.
Educationand/or years’ experience required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two years’ experience managing/supervising staff
- Completion of Developmental Disability Certification through Minot State or ability to be Developmental Disability (DD) Certified six months after hire
Skills and Abilities
- Associates or bachelor’s degree
- Minimum two years of experience in Developmental Disabilities
- Equipment used:
Understand and have a working knowledge of Windows environment Intranet and Internet technology. The incumbent must have the ability to access, manipulate, organize and relay information in meaningful ways using: email, word‑processing, spreadsheets, data collection sheets, etc.
The Residential Supervisor supervises the Direct Support Professionals and Direct Support Professional Team Leads at TML.
