Hours:
36.00 - Starting Rate: $27.00 – $38.50
- Sign on Bonus: $7,500 for 2-year commitment
Department Details: Join our pediatric sleep lab team caring for children. This is a straight night, 12‑hour shift position with or without weekend hours.
Job Summary: Perform quality diagnostic polysomnographic (PSG) studies, titration, multiple sleep latency (MSLT), and Maintenance of Wakefulness Test (MWT). Record and provide accurate data to physicians for diagnostic use in treating patients with sleep/wake disorders.
Responsibilities:
- Perform sleep study procedures or neurological testing for all patient populations.
- Understand equipment structure, function, indications for use, and basic maintenance/troubleshooting.
- Monitor and document appropriate data in the medical record per facility guidelines.
- Demonstrate knowledge of AASM standards and accreditation.
- Understand disease and pathological conditions encountered.
- Educate patients with prescribed therapies and sleep testing; follow up as needed.
- Work with all age groups and those with growth and developmental needs.

Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited program in Electroneuro diagnostic Technology, Respiratory Technology, or other medical specialty (preferred).
- Minimum of two years of related work experience in Sleep Disorders field (preferred).
- Knowledge of sleep disorders, electrical safety, and proficiency in patient documentation systems.
- RRTs required to obtain RPSGT or Sleep Disorder Specialty (RRT‑SDS) credential within 2 years or be enrolled in one of the following: must be enrolled in or have completed the A‑STEP Online Self‑Study Modules.
- Must be enrolled in or have completed training in polysomnography in a CAAHEP or CoARC accredited program.
- Licensed as RRT or RPSGT in North Dakota.
- Maintain mandatory CEU each year.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 60 days of employment.
